People always go on about getting a remap , but.most of the performance problems with diesel is it's lack of low down grunt.below 1500 rpm .
A pedal box solves it. I've got one exactly the same on my car .it's fun .
And at nearly half price with free delivery, someone will get the bargin of the year.

I've got the map, pedal box, dpf and egr delete and its a mountain of fun......mines is the older box and I've got it on sport+ number 3 and its lethal in the rain.

I could go back to running a car without the pedal box

How much extra power does it give u? Now I know about these things I might look into bunging one in, what sort of price range are they?

It doesn't give you any extra power, it just makes it feel like you do , I paid £216 for mine.

As Davie said, no extra power....it removes the lag/hesitation from the throttle when pressed.

If you want extra power, then I would say get the car remapped, or if you don't want it mapped, get a tuning box.......but that's your call.

Must admit just bought one for my insignia B (has a different connection to the A and facelift)

Even for a 1.6 it does make the drive feel faster. Posted a quick run down on my car page on members cars.
