  • Fault codes

    Morning, new to this site but hoping I can get some sound advice.
    I have a 2009 Insignia 2.0 Diesel.
    Recently I have had 'AFL' service lamp error come up on the dash.
    Essentially on start up my headlights do the usual 'dance'. My corner lights work, main beam, indicators, fogs HOWEVER no high beam. I have had a read on the car that has given two fault codes - B3A01 and P3AA0. I can't find anything anywhere to suggest what either are.

    Clearly I need the high beam for safer driving and have tested all the fuses. I'm guessing the motors for the shutters are working as the car does it's headlight dance when turned on (and it would be strange for both motors to go down together).
    WHAT THE HELL CAN IT BE?

    I have done some research online but nothing has helped.

    Cheers

        Illll go to new members introduction and expose myself.
        Thank you Sir Rab sir .
        Hello Joe as far as those fault codes are concerned I don't know what fault code reader you are using
        But it must be some kind of analogue
        The first code is a B code ( body )
        But second one is a P code ( power train)
        Which has nothing to do with the lighting system
        Also the code would appear like this - B0000-00 ( alll numbers apart from the first one
        B=body
        P= power train
        U= undefined
        So get a better code reader
        But I remember on here some lady came in with a main beam problem
        Which I think turned out to be the REC ( engine fuse box replacement)
        Because I think under the fuses you can see there are relays that are non servicable .
