    Repair Advice (bodywork and wheel)

    Chips away or Dents away will sort the bonnet. As long as paint isn't broken it should be pretty straight forward for them. The wheel on the other hand is a different story. Refurbing diamond cut/polished alloys is not an easy thing to do so you're looking at specialist for that. My guess would be approx 300 quid all in for everything getting fixed.

    No CCTV where car was parked. That would piss me right off and I know you will be.

    Gutted for you. There are some rotten b'stards around! The bonnet could be awkward if any of those dents are over the strengtheners. Is the diamond cut finish on the wheel lacquered? It may just be lacquer damage.

        Saw a panel beater sorting a dent in a Bentley a few years ago with a (wait for it) rubber mallet and what could only be described as a blunt chisel.

                  Just been out with a magnet (wrapped in kitchen roll ) and it wouldn't stick to the bonnet so it must be true.

                      ?1000 excess is crazy, who is the insurance with?!? I have my siggy insured via Lloyds bank car insurance with 5 year ncb, zero excess, protected no claims, RAC breakdown cover, key loss replacement, windscreen cover (?75 excess) and pay ?380 fully comp. Can even pay monthly without upping the cost.



                      I would use the Meerkats next time your insurance is up for renewal.....:-)
