Car pulling away as if in 2nd.

Morning everyone, my car is a 2014 Insignia Elite 2.0 Auto. Twice recently it has been acting oddly, on both occasions when I pull away, it is like it's pulling away in 2nd gear, or like it is in limp mode. There has been no indications on the dash to this effect, i'm not even sure if it has a limp mode. When I get back in it, it's ok again. Any ideas what this could be at all?

loss of boost pressure due to a small leak in the boost pipe ... but not enough to flag up an error on the dash......maybe !

Have you checked what gear it is pulling away in to determine whether it's engine or gearbox that has the issue?

thanks for your replies and suggestions, I will look into these.
Drew, If it happens again, I will try manual mode and see if that points to anything.
Lizzard, I can have a look at that as well.
Langy, the car is relatively low mileage and as it's happened only twice, i'd say its not that, it feels like it's electrically restricted.
One thing, the battery has been playing up recently and on friday it packed up. So the car has a brand new battery on it, so I think time will tell on this one.
