  • 9 Week Old Insignia, Problems are back, Who pays for diagnosis?

If you have an extended warranty why are they charging in the first place??

If all else fails I would speak to the citizens advice bureau see where you stand.

Mate, I'd reject it! Having experienced VX piss poor diagnosis of faults they will probably feck it up more! If you need some advice on rejection speak to trading standards as well as your finance company!

Might just be me, but VX don't give a **** who you take in with you or get to write to them! I know you are dealing with an Indy but they tend to be worse as they have much shorter warranties! I hope you get it sorted mate but I can see this ending up in only one outcome. Nowt getting done and you taking them to court!

I'm getting SVS flash up every time I start now, but think it is because it does actually need a service - the oil life is now down to 5%.

What are they going to do with the car?

Would they not go for a straight swap with a like for like car? They do owe you in terms of inconvenience caused so if the car they source is a little more then so be it! They foot the bill.

When cars go wrong these days they are a pain in the arse to sort. VX basically say, no code = no fault, when there clearly is one. The fact you are with an Indy maybe a positive as they may have a good mechanic who can sort it!

A really hope you get it sorted!
