I do find it strange that in this day and age they can't make the door seals watertight. I've had all sorts of cars since 1976 from a 1966 Austin 1100, in the 80's I had Ford Escorts and a Fiesta and in the 90's and 00's VX Carltons and Omega's and now in 2014 a Siggie, and the only one that has ever had water collect in the door is the bloody Siggie and that's the one with the most electronics in the door!....but apparently it's not a warranty issue!!!??GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I've just checked mine all but one of the rear doors were fine. The door was completely blocked up and had about 3 to 4 litres of water in it.
I'm thinking about removing them altogether as even the other doors had lots of dirt on the grommets.

well then it seems the answer to this problem is to remove the bloody plugs and bin them(or put them on fleabay).this is assuming they have been fitted in the first place,or the supplying stealer has had them away
