As I have recently bought the car and the book has a bunch of stamps in it, just not sure what work was carried out in the most recent ones, I was wondering where in the west would you recommend taking for a full service? Dealer, Arnold C? I was going to ask a couple of guys running Insignia taxi’s but never get a chance at the lights!. Also the cam belt I have read 6 years or 100K for changing, as it’s a 2013, should I go ahead an get it done or is there a way of telling it’s not required?

All I can say is if you have just brought the car .and have some invoices .
And you are wanting to keep it in good serviced condition then just get a full service done with cambelt tensioner water pump and auxiliary belt as well .
A cambelt is something you can't really tell the condition and it's not worth guessing .
So start with a clean slate so to speak .
Where abouts are you situated
?
I would avoid main dealers if I was you .

Similar position here about a year ago. Superb local garage - Greenlaw Garage, Paisley - sorted mine out. Price was less than expected plus good standard of work done. My advice is if you’re in any doubt, replace the belt, pump and tensioners. Full service while you’re there too imo. Always assume the worst and that you don’t know what corners have been cut, if any, so best to play it safe I reckon.

Excellent mate. The car made it down to Brighton in one go and ran beautifully. Very pleased. Need to get the service book written up with what was done. Will be in touch when I get back up. Highly recommended
Thanks for the custom......it's very much appreciated and if there's anything else you need, let us know.
And if you could pass on the garage details to your friends #thumbsup
