Tinted windows..levels..front doors

Reading through posts on here it seems that the fronts are tinted to the legal max.

I got a very light tint put on mine that brought it up to the legal limit?? The guy that did mine said that although there is a pre-tint already on the windows they can be tinted a wee bit more.

Och well I was gonna go darker & he talked me out of it so I'm not complaining

And please don't think that insurance companies don't check the tint. My brother in law went into the back of someone and one of the first things the bloke from the insurance company did assessing the damage to his Jag was check the tints were legal.
