Key Fob Replacement

Just after some help.

One of my keys seems to have lost the spring at some point so the blade doesn't flick out.

Can this be repaired?

I have a donor fob, just interested to see if and how it can be done before I break one or the other

The keys are glued together so you can't open them without braking stuff. I bought a cheap one from ebay, put in the PCB and swapped the blade, worked fine for me. It even survived a drop in a toilet...

I guess I'll just keep it as a spare.

Does the blade just swap straight over

Guys, thank you. I ordered a new replacement key fob off ebay, gubbins gutted and refitted into new and it's honestly like a new factory key fob for £4.00.

Very pleased.
