  • Teyes CC3 2K no sound

    Hi All,

I recently bought a 2015 Insignia VXR facelift, it had the Navi 900 with Bose, but without android auto. I decided to buy a Teyes CC3 2K (b), everything works, except, I have no sound. I have been in contact with the Teyes whatsapp in china, but for now they have not been a lot of help.

So, if I look at the silver box, there is no green plug (which I thought was the bose sound). Also, attached to the RCZ canbus box are two sets of RCA cables: Aux-in and OSTR, but I have no clue where to attach them. A second set of RCA cables were included in the box, which do point to speakers I guess, but no possible place to attach them. Ill attach some pictures.

    What to do?

As I don't really know what the difference is supposed to be between them, I can't know for sure if I'm missing anything or if they have sent me the wrong one...

I can see the subwoofer under the bootlid, but I haven't found the amp yet, where can I find it (or what does it look like)?

My Bose Amp is under the boot liner at the back, but I am sure the HU wont need to be wired all the way back to there. I have had a look and I cannot find any instructions for this unit as it may say/show what the different cables are between normal and bose.
Contact their support, send a pic of the back connections and the cables they sent and ask them to confirm if you have been sent the Bose compatible system

Yeah, I also figured that. The documentation on this HU is subpar, and their technical support isn't really all that helpful

To locate the actual Amp. Open your boot, you have the Boot Cover. at the back near the back seats you will see the boot cover hinge's there. Easiest way it to lower your back seats then you can pull on the cover to lift it up, it is stuck down with Velcro

I ended up sending the HU back, they were not helpful at all and nobody knew how to solve the issue...

                              Sorry only just seen this.

Generally the cable will pull audio for the FR/FL/RL and RR and intercept prior to it going into the HMI.

Though with the Bose set up I'm not 100 percent sure. Cant imagine it being much different though.

Would have to see the main harness to get a understanding.
