      As the same person posting about 12v socket not working I'd certainly go with fuse

              Anyway back on topic.. Check the fuse. Anyone advice on which one it could be?

                Does the orange light on the button come on when you press the rear screen heater?

                  Must be a loose wire somewhere. Have you checked for a break in the element on the screen? I'm guessing there are still key areas where a break would render the whole thing useless. Mine works great. Haven't needed to de-ice the back yet

                    Think he's ruled that out anyway. The insignia seems to have multiple fuses for the same thing. E.g when I blew one my interior lights dimmed rather than not working at all

                      Silly question but have you looked closely at the actual element on the rear window for breaks or damage?



                      If the light comes on then power is at least trying to get to it so your pretty much down to connection issues somewhere along the line.
