Can anyone help? Car hasn't been stolen into, last night the alarm kept on going off for no reason and is still doing it, would this be a battery reset to fix the problem or would I need to take it to vx -__-

Not been a good week with this car
              Do you have TPMS fitted?

Is it just the power sounder or indicators flashing the lot?

Erm stupid question but how do I disconnect the battery? And for how long?

Just disconnect the negative (black!) lead for at least 10 mins. It's known to sort all sorts of gremlins!

Because there is a Customer Satisfaction Program alert for it, if there is a TPMS module fault or water ingress it sets the power sounder off as it is on the same LIN bus circuit. I had my sounder going off when I programmed the module without wiring it in which it took as faulty.

So you don't get full alarm, just the siren going off a lot.

                            Customer Satisfaction Program - 09-R-004

Insignia ? Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

                            1) 'Tyre location not known' appears wrongly in Driver Information Center (DIC)

                            2) Power Sounder will alarm, increased stand-by current consumption.

                            Cause:

                            1) Software Error

                            2) Water ingress in Auto Learn Module

Check if vehicle has been reworked (see vehicle marking). If required, replace Auto Learn Module (ALM) of TPMS.

All vehicles checked or reworked according to this information have to be clearly marked by a blue paint dot on the hinge (1) of the fuel filler flap.
