    The 160 can be safely mapped to approx 190-200 bhp and the 130 engine is the same except it's detuned. You should be fine. As Paul said, all depends on how you drive it with your new found power.

    the 130 has the weaker gearbox than the 160 so if you were going to constantly stress it with torque loads stick to the stage 1

      Not really about driving fast. As previously mentioned, it is the extra torque that could be the problem.

      Regardless of your intentions, your driving style will naturally adapt to having that extra torque available

      For instance, in overtaking situations or when climbing hills, the extra torque allows you to just put the foot down, rather than also having to drop a gear. That is what loads up the gearbox and dual-mass flywheel and potentially leads to increased wear and tear.

        High torque is there at 1500rpm so you dont need to rev high to wreck your box. Its torque that does the damage not power
