    This is a feature that is supposed to aid smoother gear changes. You should notice when changing up through the gears that the revs will match that for the next gear.

    Yup, a kind of anti stall system i think.



    I have the cdti and mine holds at about 1k thwn drops to normal tickover of 850.

      I have not noticed this with my car. I even tried it out as well, just rev normally.
