  • P2033 and p242d fault codes?

Hi all, hope someone can help!
A while back. My car went into limp mode and displayed the fault code p242d.
I've now changed both exhaust sensors and the car is still in limp mode, but now I'm getting code p2033 coming up,and the service soon light is coming on again. Any ideas where I should be looking now for a fix or is it time for a trip to the garage?

did you replace the sensors with genuine GM replacements ?

What sort of code reader are you using ?
Shoukd be able to do some live data readings on that sensor.

Hi, they're not genuine gm parts, mainly because of availability, though they are from a reputable company.
I'm using a couple of generic OBD2 readers, coupled with a paid for app. I'll give the live readings thing a go and see what they are saying. I'm sure I'll be back

Hi, I've just tried the live data thingy, only....... When I select either of the egt sensors, it tells me that they're both n/a?? All of the other sensors seem to show up on the graph though

The insignia doesn't usually like anything other than OEM parts.
