So, a little update. It would seem that driving between 30 and 40 mph gives me a slower dpf fill rate. Sit at 70mph on the motorway and the dpf full percentage increases faster.
After a regen, every time without fail, the soot level drops to about 3% before jumping to 29% within a couple of miles. So I assume that's the level mk one sits at after a regen. I'm tempted to remove it and give it a jetwash and see if this lowers the level.

I don't monitor my dpf at all, but if your dpf is filling as you say then emptying down to just 3% that would suggest to me it's working as it should? If you are concerned about this it might be worth considering why it's filling so quickly. What might be causing excessive soot?

Mine also drops to about 3% after a regen, have seen 2% before too I think. If its filling that quickly as said already there might be something else going on to cause that as the regens seem to be doing what they should.

Mine had always jumped back up a bit after completing a regen. 15% finish, 10 miles later might be 26%. But distance between regens is always consistent. I'd only worry if the regens are not completing, every 200 miles or 600 miles, it doesn't matter, car is happy after a regen, driver knows when regen will happen, happy days.
Don't read so much into it. If car doesn't regen it will soon let you know.

Exactly as above it’s regening quite happily, but as said before thease 1.6 do seem to regen more frequently.
I’ve never monitored anything on my cars ,it will soon tell you if it’s unwell.
If it was anything to do with the pressure sensor it would not regenerate.
if it was anything to do with the dpf it would tell you .
