  • Vx line body kit

    Ok need some advice people.

Had my car just over a month now. Got my 19 pentas hopefully going on at weekend and really want the vx line kit on the car to finish it off.

Problem is I don't have the pennies at the moment and I'm not a patient person and can't wait, want to try and get it all done now.

I have seen this on eBay. - http://pages.ebay.co...id=181515095864

I have a friend who is a bodywork specialist and says genuine parts are better obviously but he can make these look just as good as genuine ones if I really want to get them and go down this route.

    A few questions.

    1) has anyone else got this kit through this eBay seller? Or has anyone got a fibreglass kit? Got any pics and have you had any problems?

    2) should I just give myself a kick and wait till I can afford genuine parts (prob not till next summer)

    3) shall I just go for it and get it done?

Disaster. I assume they are same size as genuine vx line skirts?

Would you be interested in selling them then if they are just collecting dust in your shed?

Sheffield to far for me to come and take a look I'm afraid

250 that's a good price. My mate hasn't seen the kit or the new car yet but quoted me 350 for fitting and paint at a guess.

So would you sell it or are you planning to put in your own car at some point?

Mine is a 2009 Sri hatchback.

So I'm after a bargain so how much would you be after to get that space in your shed back .

At the moment on eBay it's 190 for kit and 40.00 postage so that's only 230. (Maybe speaking polish hasn't helped on this one )

In all honesty like I said I am after a bargain and not even sure I want fibreglass due to some reviews I have read on here. If you was willing to part with it for cheap as it was just sitting in your shed I may have been interested and took the gamble on fibreglass

I would defiantly not be prepared to pay what you paid for it as I may as well just order direct myself

Yeah mine is made of fiberglass. Front add-on is good, sideskirts are also quite good, but rear add-on is quite worse. It seems like mold what they used from base isnt perfect, or fiberglass have twisted after they have made that mine spoiler. There is little gab between bumber and spoiler, almost end to end.

But you can fill that gab. AND, set is cheap so my opinion it is worth to buy!

Thanks. On that advice I have taken the gamble and confirmed the deal tonight.

Your car looks quality as well. The vinyls look ace, you have some skill
