  • 2016 Insignia front number plate fixing. Sticky pads or screw?

Morning doods. Time has come to replace the reg plates. We have a 2016 Tourer so the rear one is flat to the tailgate. My question is, as the front bumper is slightly curved will sticky pads hold it? Does any one on here have their front plate secured by sticky pads and what are your experiences? Many thankings.

Sticky pads front and back on mine bud, no issues, let the number plate bend in the sun on the front first...

    What I used.

Thanks both. Sorry for the late reply. RL got in the way.

Anyway, tried sticky pads (not the 3M ones pictured above) and they just weren't strong enough. Kept pinging off on one side. Had I seen the reply sooner about the 3m stick pads above I would have tried those. Instead I got some Gorilla glue. Instant grab they said, grabs ANYTHING they said...after holding it down for 30 minutes it became apparent that its anything BUT instant grab this is what I had to resort to. Thank god for Tourers!
