  • Wing mirrors - Buick Regal

    Hey All

The US version of the Insignia (Buick Regal) has wing mirrors with indicators built in

Do the mirrors fit straight on to the insignia (much like many other body fittings do) and will the indicators function properly without wiring modification? The plugs looks the same as the insignia

Are you driving an Avenger or an HB Viva???

Wing mirrors were discontinued late 70s mate

If you get a set try them but they wont be plug n play coz the insignia wont have indicator wiring.

        You certainly can bud.
here's mine....I did mine about 3 years ago.
but I painted mine and lacquered it so it wasn't too noticeable.

Great, I'm going to order the repeater units and cut the mirror housing up. I have a spare mirror unit to practice on first and create a proper template

Looks like i can power them from the side indicator wiring

Love the idea of tinting the indicators out for that stealth look

I did them black bud as I didn't like the clear bit below the mirror and it also make it look factory.

2 wires.....run them out and into the side repeaters mate.

It’s never been something I thought about but see them on like that has made me think about doing it. So much so I’ve just placed my order. I might by some light tint film instead of spraying them though…

That's what I'm thinking, tint as opposed to spray...

Easy to reverse and don’t risk laying too much down that you can’t see the light emitted from them.

Believe it or not...they are only lightly tinted.
they only look dark, but they're not.

If they were dark, you wouldn't see them flash in the daylight.

                            They look great at night.

That was my thought. I’ve just ordered some light smoked tint film less than a rattle can.

Have you got any picture of them at night?
