  • Water in the spare tyer well - SOLVED

    Hi,

Long story short I found a lot of water on the spare tyre well of my Insignia Sports Tourer (2010). The root cause was the back drain tubes of the panoramic roof were completely disconnected. I reconnected them and zip tied and the problem was solved.

UK cars won't be affected with this, as there were none in the UK with sunroofs

There was a member on here the other day, from Netherlands possibly, who was having issues with the blind on the pan roof though, so you may find you help each other!

Those drains are a bit a pain. Mines got blocked from time to time by leafs etc so I have to clean them often, otherwise I will get a boot full of water as well. The exit of the drains are behind some piece of plastic between the chassis and boot so well hidden.
