Can you fit an insignia b steering wheel on an facelifted insignia a. If so what would you need to get the heating part of the wheel working? Also can you still use the original airbag?

Just a pity you've posted today.
We scrapped a ltd edition yesterday and the steering wheel was left on as no one wanted it.

So is a heated steering wheel plug and play or would it need programming and the squib changed as well?

No need to be sorry. My own fault for not being on the site as much as I should

Keep in mind that even tho the wheel might work the airbag wiring might not. Apparently the EU/German Opel (and presumably VX) steering wheels came with 3 color coded airbags connectors. Grey, white, and black. The Buick RegaI/TourX had 2 of their own as did Holden in Australia) think they are different explosive charges for the bags but the wiring is not interchangeable. And the airbag charge is the only part of the wheel thats different
