  • Looking for ideas for a phone mount

As the title suggests, currently have a holder in the front corner of the windscreen but a bit far away. I’d prefer it near the vents but not blocking them with a clip on holder.

not too fussed if I need to make holes in the dashboard.

    what’s everyone else do?.

      currently using this Phone mount,
it's magsafe...(if you have an iphone it's perfect, as it charges your phone up as well)

The good old fashioned glove box .
No one wears gloves whilst driving.
The glove box is like a kitchen drawer at home.full of screwdrivers boiled sweets and the instructions to a tumble dryer you no longer own.

I think the heating issue may be sorted, I’ve updated the thread on it.

I do have an iPhone. I’m guessing it attaches to the vents?. Are you able to provide a picture of it and I’m not sure how much of the vent gets covered by the phone. I have a 15 pro max which is quite big so don’t want to lose the air flow.

                I'll grab a picture tomorrow,
it has a 'hook' that clips behind the vent bar and then you tighten it up to lock it in place, more secure than the old style ones that use the rubber grips that attach above and below the vent bar, I'm currently running an iPhone11 and still get airflow from the vent it's clipped to..

A couple of pics... as you can see the mount sits 'off' the air vent so airflow isn't really impacted.

Mag mount stuck to the sliding cover centre console.
Can still use cover, the phone sits next to the armrest usb for AA, short cable, no distractions, doesn't move, no blocked vents.
