Front indicator issue

So on my way home last night I got a bing saying front passenger indicator issue. I checks it and it doesn't work on the indicator/hazards but noticed when locking the car that the indicator works. Iv got no idea how to take the indicator bulb out to check it but if it works for locking I'm confused. Haha
