nope,.. you need to spend more time cleaning than watching mpg number though!!

enjoy your mpg while it lasts,.. if you get a Grandsport, expect it to drop by 50%

Think most can do that if reset trip while cruising on motorway.

Had to take a long detour home from work tonight, 60 mile . The mileage is from filling up, first 8 miles sat in city traffic bumber to bumber, average mpg was 29.9 when started detour. Average speed about 7 .
Never went over 70mph, Google maps said I averaged 56 mph for detour trip.

Car loved the detour, me not so much , work is only 13 miles from my house not over 70.

Yes indeed. Same here, although on the Grand Sport, instantaneous mpg is now limited to 99 mpg max ......and as low as 7mpg flooring it in 4th LOL. As for fuel economy, the 1.5T Grand Sport petrols are better on mpg than previous petrols, whereas the diesels are a bit of a mixed bag from what has been posted on here.

I hadn't reset mine since towing our second home to Cornwall and back last month so it was still around mid 30's. So yesterday we were doing a 140 round trip to Harrogate and York solo. It did 50 mpg to Harrogate and after a fair bit of slow traffic through Harrogate then York that drppoed to 49 mpg by the time we were back home.

                            I'm quite happy.
                            Lincolnshire to Central Scotland.

4 of us in the car and full of luggage etc.

And a pretty decent amount left in the tank.
