Just changed the fuel filter on my 2018 insignia 1.6 diesel. All went fine cars running fine. but in the bag was 2 o rings obvious the big one is the filter housing. What was the little one one for?

I thought that but it didn't fit there. But when you take the filter of and reveal the long pipe it slides back over at the end of this pipe there is a place for an o ring and it does fit there. So that's where it is now. Cars running fine. I've put a blue print filter in.
