  • Air con issue

Hi all as summer approaches I've decided to look into the AC issue that has been plaguing me each summer.

It's generally a slow leak however I think I've found the issue. I injected a small bit of UV that came with a ac top up.

By the high side pressure service point (believe that's what it's called I've noticed what to me appears to be wear on the pipe. There's a fair amount of dye around it hence how I found it.

Is this part easily replaceable or am I best just handing it to a AC tech?

Anything with AC leave it to the professional.
    But that's my advice.
You either take it or do your own thing.

100% as lizzard says. Knew a guy (not me!) once who messed around with A/C on his car once who didn't know what he was doing, had a bad refrigerant leak onto his hand, had a skin problem/irritation ever since! Nasty stuff. Leave it to the professionals!

It is common to get a leak on the high pressure sensor, safer to go garage
