    Officially, 100,000 miles/6 years.

    Personally, with a belt, I'd be not be going much beyond 60k.

    I believe for the new SIDI engines in the facelift models, VX have gone back to using chains.

      chains sound good until you think about the wear on the automatic tensioners........

        Seems like nobody makes anything to last these days.

        Cam chain lasted well enough on my Cavalier Mk1 1.6L.

        It had done 142,000 miles when it finally succumbed to terminal tinworm. I had to replace a worn-out camshaft and followers at 95,000 miles.

            i have called few vx for this, all af them are saying same - 90.000 or 10 years.
