Hello Guys and Gals,I have just changed my 2012 2.0 cdti Elite for a ULEZ friendly 2016 facelifted 2.0 cdti Elite, upon checking the tyres i noticed that the fronts are 235/40/19 and the rears are 245/40/19 dose any know if this is correct or was it a cost saving exercise by the previous owner, thanks.

Diameter, width , circumference. Sidewall are slightly higher on the rears
but revolutions per Mile are slightly less
maybe he liked the slightly higher stance at the rear.
Don't really understand why, but its legal as they are both on the same axel
Just put it down to a weird ex owner
Like someone wearing snorkel and flippers when in kwick fit buying tyres!

245 is the correct standard fit width, that's regardless of rim diameter. Only the country tourers had a different width/profile to help with the raised ride height. (And VXRs have a 255 width)
