  • Flexride Front shocks supplier

    I'm afraid I have a question already...

My 2.0T has the Flexride option. While doing their latest work on it, the garage identified that there fluid leaking from the shocks, so an MOT fail.
Plus they & I think the front suspension knocking noise it's got may be the driver's side shock.
    Part no.s are 13319741 LH, 13319742 RH

Vauxcentre have them, apparently OEM - for almost the Vauxhall price (if Vx still supplied them)
There are numerous sellers with them on eBay which are temptingly cheaper, but they're all based in China so there's questions over that.
I did see some american suppliers online, but quoting almost $1000 shipping,

Does anyone have a recommendation for another supplier for the Flexride shocks?

Vauxcenter are you only alternative to dealer .the only other way that I have heard of is
A cheat plug which is supposed to fool the suspension system into thinking it's got flexiride shocks on .
So I therory you can fit normal.
But as I said I've heard of it.i haven't actually seen the device.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case
      Have ordered from them now.

Turns out they're on ebay as "thecarpartsclub" with some January discount codes, as I found out after I'd ordered off their site.
