      don't have to remove core to deflate tyre

        Tyre places do it that way for speed, you can push the central pin and deflate slowly.

        Perhaps the tyre place is being heavy handed in the removal of the core and are blaming the parts. Is it the same place each time?

          According to Schraeder, the VX/GM/Opel TPMS valve cores should be nickel plated. If the fitters are using the wrong service kits, that could be the problem.
