They pay 40% tax voluntarily unlike a lot of politicians. Inheritance tax for them was abolished by John Major in the 80s so as not to water down the properties which ultimately we all own.

If you abolish them what next....Buckingham Palace owned by the Russians and turned into a brothel, Balmoral owned by the Saudis because they like to shoot grouse and stags, the germans would probably buy Sandringham and turn it into a spar. How much revenue from it all would find its way back into the UK? Nowt.

And when it's gone it's gone. I don't want to be equal with them, I want them to be the envy of the world, which they are.

I have my opinions and beliefs too.....but I certainly don't come on a car forum, even though its the off topic section and spout the pish the way he has.

I'm not a royalist neither a republican.....im a person knows nothing about the way royals/hierarchy live or operate, so I'm not gonna comment on their lifestyles.

I only comment on something i half know anything about......and that aint much.

I know they cost the tax payer a lot of money but they also bring in a lot too, plus it is our heritage whether we agree with it or not in the modern age
