Anyone used aftermarket timing chain kit

Hi has anyone used a aftermarket timing chain kit on the 2.8 v6 engine seen some at eurocarparts wanted to know if anyone has any info or used the kit cheers

I'd go with vx or saab. Don't want to use a cheap little and it possible fail and that's a new engine.

Yes got quoted 1550 with oil pump from.nick, i seen a kit from eurocarparts around 400 wanted to see if anyone has fitted aftermarket cheers

Hello Yaza01. Trust me on this don't go for aftermarket kits , the chain guides normally wear or snap .
On my turboX went for genuine VX kit inc oil pump ( though on that model it was not necessary cos 2003-2006 suffered with that problem)
Nick 150 knows his stuff and from the forum I work on they rate him very highly.
Just to let you know the turboX is a Saab but uses the same engine as the Vauxhall 2.8 .
