Well its nearly time to replace all 4 rotors and pads, will do a full fluid change while I am at it.

I have 2lt of Brembo 5.1 and a hand powered vacuum pump to suck the thluid through, any idea how much I will actually be replacing as I suspect 1lt would suffice.

Does anyone know the torque settings for the caliper bolts?

Well I did the fronts today. What a bitch the caliper bolts were. It was a two handed job pulling a 5th of a turn right to the point the bolt came out. Covered in blue thread lock so I guess they have never been off before

The vacuum bleed kit made that part easy going seeing as the calipers have two bleed niples.

I hope the fluid has a long shelf life as it looks like I have pulled through about 100ml from the fronts

The rotor retainer bolts supplied did not have the same thread so if anyone else is doing this, look after your original bolts.

Please someone tell me the rears are not as difficult? I think they will be harder as there is less room to manouver where as the front i could turn full lock for better access

        Nice job bud.

The rears.......em, are, em harder to do as you need to wind back the caliper piston.
and then there's the EHB motor.....

Why do rears need to be wound back and not fronts? Friend next door has the wind back kit though. The EHB can go into service mode to retract the motor

The rears need to be wound back due to the handbrake mech on the caliper I believe

Unlike the Brembo's these are sided so the drilled curves go in the right direction on both sides. Oh and yes Lizard the red stuff feeel really solid
