          Me and the misses went in there when we were up Edinburgh last year! Was very nice indeed.

              Thanks it's fine though. Worse things happening in the world. If this past 2 years has taught me anything it's that material things don't really matter.

                Thanks...He's a thoroughly decent guy. Very apologetic and continued to be via text. Something needs doing about insurance though if people are prepared to hand out that kind of money because these companies screw you.

                  The guy wants to pay for the damage himself rather than going through insurance so my car is now booked in at the repairer's. The initial quote they gave me was for £1911 but I managed to knock them down to £1690. The guy was happy to go ahead and has already paid them a £500 deposit. It goes in on the 26th June. Can't wait!
