        • Just the standard wash and dry again I'm afraid.

Had the low battery active warning come up this morning, I just sat in the car with the radio on for 20 minutes and up it popped. Immediately started the car and no issues. Anyway this afternoon after a short run the passenger window decided to open itself again for no reason.
So put my old battery back on that I swapped out over 18 months ago. Reset windows again, everything seems ok, windows seem quicker if anything. Luckily I had the old battery on the charger for the last month.
Stuck removed battery onto the charger and it's still charging several hours later. Getting the same readings from both batteries, 66% SOC.
Tested alternator and output is ok. So I'm guessing I have a very small parasitic draw somewhere. Car has only done a few hundred miles in the last few months , so guess it's caught up.
          Well that's my theory.

          • Parallel drawing is an absolute joke it's like trying to find a virgin in littlehampton.
hopefully it's just that battery that was rubbish.
but looking fantastic as normal Matt .

            • Would you fcking believe it!!!!!

MOT and service tomorrow morning, trip to Lincoln this afternoon, 25 miles in EML comes on. No apparent issue with the car, in fact running well.
Anyway get home and read the code, Nox 2 fault. Reset and all ok. Ran live data and can't see anything wrong. Correct voltage, similar resistance to Nox 1 sensor, O2 readings similar etc.
My battery condition has deteriorated, but still starting ok with no other issues.

Will take for a blast up the motorway later and see what happens.
Anyone had issues with battery and Nox sensors?

Did sensor 1 about 2 years ago.

              • Can anyone explain to me, what resetting the Nox sensor does, and if it's worth me resetting so close to MOT?

                • In what way do you mean resetting it ?
are you saying resetting as in clearing the codes? If so it's just that . You have reset the computer to see if it was just a one off ,or that it's going to happen again.
if you mean resetting as in ,"learning mode "
it will just take the nox sensor back to basic settings.

                  • Yeah thinkdiag has a reset option. Think it just clears learnt figures. On test drive now, seems ok, nox 1 reading jumping around though.
230 to 300 ppm then split second jumps to -100.
OBD definitely said nox 2, might reset both and see what happens

When I had problems with mine it turned out the culprit was Nox 1 due to corrosion in the module but the code reader suggested both were at fault. I never had any further issues with Nox 2 after I sorted Nox 1 and I suspected that Nox 2 couldn't work properly without reliable readings from Nox 1 because it has to work out how much adblue to inject relative to the Nox reading from Nox 1. I don't know what error codes you have had but maybe Nox 1 is faulty in light of your live readings. Maybe give the connector a clean?

                      • Reset both sensors, can ran like **** for a few miles then ok.
No reading from nox 1 sensor. So reset again. Then good readings. Drive another 10 miles, stop engine while at shop, then home. 30 mins on Rickover and no reading from nox 1 again.
But 40.miles and no fault yet. Will just have to see what happens, booked in for 8am.
Hope it's not nox 1 again, only 2 years old or so.

                              • I suppose that's just about right fir a sensor thease days ,they are put under a lot of heat ,and of course the vibration of the movement of the. Car doesn't help matters ,
its not like a sensor on your boiler or fridge .
theres probably a certain amount of " time bomb " built into everything now ,it keeps thease companies in business.
