Breaker breaker I've done it at last !
well after spending what amounts to the cost of this set
on 3 sets of supposed " can-bus error free " hid and LED bulb kits
I fitted the stealth kit from HIDS4U
You could say you have seen the light!
They look nice and bright.
Well here's a Night test
verdict
1) light pattern is the same as before so no dazzling oncoming roadusers .
2) the results of how much brighter and clearer the road ahead is ,is to me a 100% improvement over what I last had in there which at the last count were H7 with 120% more light .
3) it's a white light rather than being a over made up yellow light
everything is illuminated
I took it for a short drive down our industrial estate and the beam was focused on the road it did not throw any beam off at a weird angle .
and the colour is white which was what I was after !

Why thank you very much MR Alex sir .

hope you and your family are all safe and well !
10-4 big bird !
Yeah all is well thanks for asking mate, just been busy with work an family life as per .
hows life been treating you and family? I see the Saab is coming along nicely.. looking minted in my opinion.
Glad to hear Alex I always get worried when a long standing member goes missing in action so to speak .
familys fine ,at the moment there's the dreaded cold bug going around now that my youngest boy is back at school .
.and my wife has joined the French brigade ,by buying a Renault Captur ,wasn't my first choice but like it as it has a bit of "oooo La La " with the cream body and black roof .
keeps her happy .

12-34 plastic surgery!
Not missing buddy just been hectic with daily life, I had popped on time to time but stayed in the back ground.
Glad to hear all is well on the family side, ours went back to school recently, we had a little scare as covid was in one of the schools kids go to but seems to have been caught early enough, testing times tbh.
I quite like the capture they drive really well, being french the electrical side can be a bit of a pain it sounds very swav my Mrs would love it by the sounds of it.
It could be coming to an end for our wee french bullet as the oil light came on on a private road at 130mph, with all the **** I had last time I'm thinking of just bailing on her now.
there's no obvious noise's from engine no power loss and plenty of oil flow at top end so could be just a sensor or a failing relief spring on the pump but either way am starting to not trust it tbh so me thinks it could be time
Been looking at s4's always fancied one since I got a shot of a mates.
The latest chapter.
Head unit upgrade time .
ive been a busy boy .
as thease pre 2007 facia facelift saabs have a fibre optic system for sound and alerts that run through the head unit and through an amp under front passenger seat
it's a Mosfet system .
yiu cannot just swapp out the headunit and replace
or else you loose reverse sensor noise
indicator noise
speed warning
seatbelt noise
and alerts .
so you have to go the complete new install route but keeping original head unit and associated parts in place .
so I did the following
replaced rear shelf speakers with
2-4"
2-6x9"
front doors
6.5"
re-wired the whole lot
installed a amplified DAB and FM "Bee sting "roof aerial ran wires through roof lining
installed a Sony DAB/ Fm Bluetooth app head unit
removed ashtray and installed it in there .
behind ashtray is switched live and ground
new permanent live from battery .
"Hay presto "
no loss of warning sounds and alerts .
and a much better sound quality .
suites my needs
And speakers fit below old grillls
