Just to correct this, oil thickens and resists flow when cold, then starts to thin as it heats up....Leave a comment:

It should be possible to still lock it although it may be a bit of a rigmarole, could lock all doors with central locking and then unlock just the driver or passenger door manually, then pop the bonnet and disconnect the battery neg terminal, then close bonnet and close driver/passenger door, then lock...Leave a comment:
