EGR mapping question
I've got my car booked in for a remap including EGR as mine is broken. At the moment it's unplugged and drives better than it ever has but when I shut the engine down there's a noticable shudder.
Will this remain after the car is mapped?...

Final update
I unplugged the TB and EGR valve and the MAF reading went up to what they should be. I plugged the TB back in and the readings stayed the same, I then plugged the EGR in and the readings plummeted and the engine ran rough.
Looks like it will be getting mapped out a...

Bit of an update on this issue.
I brought a brand new Bosch MAF sensor and fitted it and I also replaced the intake temperature sensor and the the issue is still there and no fault codes.
When I first started it it was band on the reading it should be bit after about 10 seconds...

That was the last screenshot after I had done what you suggested and rev the car and then switch it off, I switched it off as I took my foot off the gas. Maybe I did it wrong and ended up with that reading?
I've never had maf sensor readings like that before....

This is the reading I got after I had revved the engine and then switched it off.
I've never had an issue with the outside air temp sensor, its always been correct. Can this sensor effect the running of the car? I thought it was just to let the driver know how warm it is...

Today the ambient temp was much cooler so my MAF readings were not as bad as the previous days but the g/s reading was still low at about 9-10 g/s on idle.
I spent a good hour with the laptop and opcom wont show long and/or short term fuel trims. All i could get was fuel rail pressure...

Thank you for that info it's very interesting.
I have an opcom reading from when I first got the car and the barometer pressure was 101 and the MAF reading was spot on what it should be and the car ran perfect Opcom will only show 3 figures so I would guess the 101 reading is the closest...

sorry for the delay, had a mare of a day and didnt get a chance to get the car hooked up to the laptop. I tried what you suggested about but i wasnt sure if i did it right. The barometer pressure stayed at 100.
The strange thing is that the car gets worse the higher the ambient temp is...

The barometer pressure is a constant 100 kpa
this morning the car is like a kangaroo in 1st gear if I ease off the Gass. Still no fault codes though...

The above part has seen better days and ive been trying to find a new one. My local VX dealer cant get 1 and ive searched online for a UK stockest and ive drawn a blank. I was hoping the zap site would give me the dimensions but it doesnt.
Also while ive been searching ive seen that the...

Looking again and my engine load seems to be high. I took a reading back last year and the load was only 18% at idle?
Could it be down to the famous split intercooler pipe? i did spray it with brake cleaner but didnt hear the engine note change at all

Voltage and CTS temp added to menu
If you have op-com or vaux-com and don't already have it then it's a nice little mod if your interested in those values. I uses to check mine on the hidden menu all the time on my Vec C as it used to eat through alternators like anything and it saved me a few times when I saw the charging voltage drop....

second that, mine have been off 5 times in 6 months ans still nice and tight and no damage to the rubber...

MAF sensor at idle reading
Hey guys
does anybody know the desired MAF sensor readings on idle for a 2011 2.0l 160?
Mine is reading between 5 and 6 g/s on idle which I think I remember reading is too low, it should be 10+
Thanks...

its bonded in with adhesive that is like concrete. Heating it up will help or maybe soaking it in something to break it up but normaly just beating the heck out of it will get them apart....
