Just to update this one as it’s cured -
replaced all 4 glow plugs and fitted a genuine DPF pressure sensor (with correct hose clamps) and have been on a 200 mile round trip today. Car did a regen at the start of the journey and hasn’t done one yet, the regen seemed a lot smoother...

The money saved and the satisfaction knowing that you done the job is always worth it. As long as you’re happy with the end result that is. I have the same mentality on my house at the moment. I could go to work to earn the pennies to pay a pro at it or I can have a go and learn something along...

Nicely done! Are you replacing the edging or just butting up to the grass?

Best advise I can give is, if your nervous about the path it takes would be as Mr-T says use a fork to break the ground up then scoop out with hands/spade but scraping along the top not going down to lift it out. And if you have one use a sledge to break the edging up so you can lift it out in smaller...Last edited by G!zzard1533; 06-09-2024, 06:36 AM.

I would also lean towards a potentially faulty pressure sensor but that would just be going off the issues I have had with mine as of late
But also could it be seasonal changes that’s making your car run slightly different? as you say it drives fine but you notice a few differences in the...

Is it just dirt and stones? If so I’d advise digging down and using type 1 MOT. You’d need to dig down 6 inches from your finished patio height to give you enough of a base. When doing mine I’ll be setting a four inch compacted MOT base, 38mm Indian sandstone slabs with a 22mm cement bed....

Welcome along
dont go for diamond cut, try and find a good alloy wheel refurbisher who can do two tone so the face of the wheel is chrome with the inners of the spokes and dish of the wheel being black. Would look just as good and not require redoing when the first bit of salt...
