replied to how much mobile Data do i need
The main bit of data will be the initial searching and getting the route which can be done on Wi-fi if needed before you set off. I used the offline google maps in the US a couple of years ago and it worked fine you just don’t get traffic etc. We were in the sticks near Lake Tahoe with no phone...

Yep, know what you mean. Seemed to take an age to come to a stop in the field. Astra did what it should to protect me though crumpling in the right spots, airbags going off etc. I got out of the car and field on my own two legs….it was until a couple of days later it all kicked in....

Seen your photos and that’s a fair shunt to cause that damage. You can see the remains of our Astra on this thread - https://insignia-drivers.uk/forum/co...lace-to-end-up

I’m fortunate that I’ve got a desk job and employed with a of employer....

All the best with the recovery from the crash, i was bunted off the road into a field back in December and still suffering with neck and upper back issues. Currently waiting to see a specialist about them once the insurance\accident solictors find one for me to visit. I was, and to extent still am,...

I wouldnt get your hopes up on Vauxhall customer service being any use...when i had that issue with the throttle pedal and didnt have the car for 5 months they said it wasnt their fault, it was the fault of their supplier and refused any help or compensation. After a bit of back and forth the compensation...

Sounds similar to when i broke down in my old 2.0 160 diesel estate setting off to come home from France on a Saturday morning, happened about 30miles into an 800 mile journey! Initially it would show the engine management light occasionally normally under slightly harder accelerating like trying to...

The difference between this time and last year is that the rate of deaths and folk ending up in hospital is way way lower which is the key thing and its due to the vaccination drive....

replied to Paying for fuel by card some changes
Think it’s more the sort of mark 100 quid as that’s the maximum but only debit what you put in. Some of them have done it for a while and nothings changed. From Visa page :-

“In the past, when you used a self-service pump to buy fuel, the exact cost would only show up...

Do my head in on the M1 on my way to and from work when i go that way...pain in the backside. Bloke yesterday as i went up from 25 to 29 just sat doing 60 in the third lane forcing folk out into lane 4 to go past him. Bloke was oblivious to the chaos he was causing....

This is all well and good but prices of UK holidays are going through the roof. Whilst i appreciate the sector has been hit and would expect a price rise to an extent some of the prices flying about are ridiculous. Talking to my brother in law yesterday and they looked at taking their caravan to Cornwall...

I could be wrong but i didnt think the vaccine stopped you getting it, its more that if you do contract it then the vaccine massively reduces the chance you get very poorly from it needing to go to hospital etc which was the issue last year. Hospitals etc being overwhelmed by people getting very poorly...
