Update
hired a cat 4 detector in hope it would assist. Didnt work at all didnt eveb beep for a live cable i read you beed the Genny too
anyways decided to fill that area back with grass
remeoved the edging the whole way along then in areanear consumer unit used...

Thanks I didn't dig deep 15cm at most I'm northern ireland so not sure if regs are followed as stringently. I'm opting towards what you're saying about replacing edging only as I'm very nervous digging around it even going gently however I'm also worried that cable will come directly under edging at...

Thanka guys I think the water pipe has a reflective wrap insulation on it but no foam
The electric is my main concern my gut is telling me it's armoured cable and 240v supply for boiler but hard to know could b3 main supply for house

So tonight i was digging and found very shallow electric and water lines for boiler. I had planned to square area ofg. What yous reckon should i and dig carefilly or fill that part back with grass and use original edging lines?...

Laying a patio
Doing one myself and currently dug up the decorative stones to find an existing sub base. It's not exactly mot type 1 grade but is in some areas and other areas a mix of sand bits of tarmac and small amount of organic matter basically whatever builder wnat3d rid of
My question can I compact...

Thanks will do I have been using the mannol dexos 2 seems to do the trick. Weirdly used to get bosch pil filter and it wasn't clicking in right but some amazon special clicks in so use it now and always get new sump washer for good measure
Used to take me ages but go faster at the oil ...

Sorry its 177 slabs, 1000 quid costs in materials but yeh not looking forward to it but rather that than pay same again or more to have it layed. A lot of landlords selling up Iver in NI too which adds to people's stress...

That's brill I do oil every 10k but have wondered if every 5k as it sees higher mileage might pay off. Will definitely be adding egr cleaning to list of maintenance after bother I had getting old one off there...

So true always something needed although we are in Northern Ireland so don't think it's just as bad for us eg house prices etc as in England but always paycheck to paycheck. We are doing payio out back and even though in laying myself over 1,000 on slabs sand mortar mot type one etc...

Thanks I hope so. Was getting worri3d that was going to be it for my 2010 150k mile insignia and it acc made me how much I love it. Hfully that's it and wake up call for more preventative maintenance including the dpf light...

Hi all clean didn't work so bought new valve and fitted. So far so good I can actuate it on scan tool but wheb j drive sensor still always reads zero on thinkdiag which is strange? Will keep driving and keep fingers crossed
On way home before fitting new egr car went into regen with thick...
