My wife likes being punished.shes damaged all 4 of the tyres on her mercedes A class just so Dave at national tyres can whip her butt .
but I'm known for ruining a perfectly good tyre .
As lizard says replace.
A tyre is the only point of contact with the road .

It would be on the B pillar if its O/S/R .if its anything like the normal multiplugs you lift the red tab and it detaches
But as gizzard says the problem is probably in the lock mechanism .

You could probably make up a gasket out of gasket paper if you really are stuck.
How much oil is actually coming out of that joint?
Is it a lot .is the oil level ok ?
A fine oil mist at most but that would be on the inlet side
That joint is on the compressor discharge side...

Are you sure the screwdriver is touching the top of the piston?
Have you tried moving the crank further so you can see the screwdriver going down?
That's what you are looking for.you have got to see the screwdriver going down to make sure that it was at TDC When you started.

It's just vegetable oil hydrotreated.its the second generation of bio fuel.
It's more stable
So is a direct replacement.for diesel.

Can you remember how far out it was in the first place before you adjusted it ?
If not the only way would be to remove glow plug number 1
Stick a long screwdriver down the hole.so it touches the crown of the piston to make sure it's at TDC .

It would be nice to know what radio gram you have.
But if there was a burning smell I would investigate that first before fitting a replacement.
Or I would of .
But I'm no wizard with these new fangled things but it's been known to be the HMI that goes wobbly.
