Have you thought about vinyl wrap? Any mistakes can be peeled off as well?
I’ve not looked into removal of them but looks like they are on rather snug!

I’ve also had an experience on an older mk3 Astra. The expansion tank had a hair line crack in it that you couldn’t see and it would allow the coolant to “boil” off, as it would expand and allow it to escape out of it. Only found the issue by doing a pressure test on the system....

I don’t doubt that for a second! I’m constantly looking;
lowering springs
wheel spacers
wheel refurb
paint touch ups
headunit and speakers (with potential twin underseat amps)
And that’s just the beginning of the list!...

I’ll have to pull them up today but like I said I cleared it drove on a 50 miles round trip, with even a 4 mile journey between two shops and it hasn’t come on again. I know the car done a regen recently as the little led lit up.

Where was the temperature gauge sitting when the light came on?
the fault related to the electronic thermostat, but has multiple causes,
A loose or corroded connector on the thermostat
A coolant leak will cause the code to set
The thermostat itself has failed
A short or...

So rather infrequently I get this fault code pop up, relating to the dpf differential pressure sensor performance - not plausible. This puts the car into limp mode, but a quick scan with the autel and recalibration of the sensor, the fault clears and it doesn’t come back until the next time. I’ve...
