I started off with a cheap gutless Fiat Uno which never let me down.... and then to Vauxhalls:
Astra F 1.4 LS (Low Spec )
Vectra 'C' 1.8 Active (base with addons)
Vectra 'C' 2.0T 'Edition 100' mapped to 220 bhp
Vectra 'C' facelift 1.9 CDTI mapped to 192 bhp and 330...
If you can't or don't want to do it yourself it's a reasonable price IMO. Funnily enough, Vauxhall were doing cambelt replacement at a fixed price for £250, not so long ago and not that bad especially if you are only likely to have it replaced once.
I never was taken with the Insignia A, as I preferred to stay with my trusty remapped Vectra 1.9 diesel, largely because I couldn't afford to upgrade to the Insignia A. Once I saw an Insignia A facelift, it was much nicer to look at, and better equipped I thought it was better than the original 'A'....

OOPS, Just noticed that the covers have different part numbers depending on where they are fitted.
They are identified on the inside of the covers as follows:-
Front Left - Stamped 'VL' Part Number 39018304
Front Right - Stamped 'VR' Part Number 39018305
Rear Left -...
As per the title, for the benefit of any of you having difficulty removing the jacking point covers, they do indeed come out. Mine were apparently stuck solid, and I managed to get them out. I realised when I got them out, they were chock full of $hite from the road (probably never been removed in there...
