    Hi all just got a Vauxhall insignia 2lt vx line on finance 3weeks ago and the oil was on 99% now after 3weeks it's on 70% oil

    That's the oil life left NOT the oil level.

        It checks the viscosity of the oil, not the quantity.
        LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y ‘15’ front grille.

          The 'brains' of the car uses various parameters to calculate the remaining life of the oil from the time this service indicator is reset, which is usually done when the oil's changed. Some cars count this down in miles, the Vectra did, but the Insignia does this by saying what percentage life is left.

          The oil level is indicated on the dip stick.
