Hi guys have any of you ever owned one of these? I’m going to see one Saturday hopefully to buy it. Just after some owner reviews and any helpful info if possible. Thanks.

On test-drive I had no issues with the car.
However the day I drove it home (50 mile journey), after about 40 miles and during a faster run along the M11 it flashed up the '4wd/axle' warning.
Being aware of the possible severity of the fault I reduced speed and took it straight in to a branch of my local friendly VX dealer rather than take it home or take it back - my local dealer communicated with the dealer who sold it to me to arrange repair.
New diff oils, filter and diff pump cured it. £800 job rather than £4000 job.
Vauxhall didn't specify an interval for servicing the 4wd so most people don't bother (most people run their cars on the cheap). I suggest diff service every two or three years as a precaution. Diff oils and filter is probably £300 job, half of which would be labour charge..

Thanks mate that’s really helpful, as I have mentioned my mechanic is a good friend of mine so I don’t really worry about labour charge I’m lucky there, plus the dealer has said that they changed the oil in it when they did the service, if they did or not I will never know until my mechanic looks at it. But it’s good to know that it can be caught early and sorted if it does go wrong so thanks a lot.strange how vx doesn’t include this in the service schedule isn’t it? It would probably save people a lot of money if they did.
