Seem to have trouble unlocking the doors with the engine running via the unlock button on the drivers door card. Have to press and hold, although doesn’t work all the time. Anybody suffered similar issues ?

Just thinking if it is a failed module behind the switch.
What you can do first to iron out if it is an electrical gremlin, is disconnect the negative lead of the car battery for an hour then reconnect it back, your windows will need to be reset afterwards the instruction will appear on the screen.

Yeah passenger one is fine. The lock button on the drivers side works just not the unlock.

Unlock button has stopped working all together now. The lock one works though. How do I gain access to check isn’t loose connection?

Long story short, my insurance company eSure appointed the local Ford garage to repair it. They did a reasonable job, but screwed up the electrics (my independent garage reckoned they'd jump started it with + to -) which meant that none of the doors would open from inside or out except drivers door and tailgate. New battery and reset of fault codes fixed it and other guy had to pay for it.

Pop off the tweeter (only clipped in)

Use something thin to pry the little cover where the door handle is

Use a trim/pry tool to take off the big silver trim on the door

You'll be able to see all the torx bolts

Before you pull off the door card buy some extra poppers as they break easily

Take off all the connections, then you're done

It takes 5 minutes to undo the door card
