  • Few questions

Can you change the fuel left warning. Mine goes of between 80 and 90 miles left in the tank.

How do you remove the front badge

Does the facelift suffer from the oil seal.

    Insignia 2014 facelift

No i think the fuel left in the tank varies and can’t be changed

Badge on front will probably just fall off at some point of its own accord!!!!!

I think the facelift ones don’t suffer like the preface lift ones for the oil seal or if they do I haven’t heard of any going

First fuel warning is 80 to 90 ish, second is 25ish, can't be changed.

Leave car on Newcastle or Liverpool if you want badge off [emoji12].

Won't say it can't fail, but it's common on preface only.

Fuel warning will be based on how much fuel is left in the tank....the miles left figure at this time will be calculated from the mpg the car is reading as well i think. I've had the miles left figure vary from 50 to 90 depending on what sort of driving i'd been doing leading up to it. Normally it'd be around 60ish but if i'd had a lot of motorway miles on that tank, i tend to reset the figures each time i fill up, the miles left figure would be higher for the amount of fuel left in the tank that triggers the warning.

Really , never knew that thought was just preface. Assuming the euro 6 engine is a completely different design.

far as I'm aware MattG yes, my engine is not affected, my wife's is though who you flashed at the weekend!! We got that done a few months ago - it's a 2014 on 88k miles and the seal was noticably brittle.

gotten silly now, honda just don the road from you past the junction with 4 spaces empty on the drive and 2 garage spaces, the clump on the junction corner to Hedgerow parking both their cars on the junction corner because his girly trike is on the drive and his garage is full of rubbish - then chestnut rise is like a slalom now since the 50 car family moved into the bungalow!!

saw that oo,.. gutted, beautiful example with some amazing options on it. Seats are stunning. But at 5 years old, I'd have had that seal done without question a while ago.
