Mines an Auto estate, I usually get between high thirties to low forties------But if I nip down to Aldi (I walk normally) about a mile there and back, before engine gets warm get mid twenties. Not good for engine.Sport Touror Elite 163

Check the air filter is clean
I had a thorney Foam filter in mine and once it started to get dirty the mpg started to drop off , after cleaning this the mpg goes back up . They do get pretty dirty so worth checking
Have just replaced this with a K&n filter and this has really improved the MPG I am currently getting around 52mpg I was getting 45 ish before .
My car is remapped (TMS) and 4x4 2.0 163 manual tourer so would expect it to be a little thirstier than a 2wd
