    Hello from Lancaster!

    Hello Everybody!

    I am so excited to pick my 2012 1.4t SRI Nav next week. Test drove the car and loved it. I've wanted an insignia for ages. However I have a question already....

    According to Parkers this model should come with bluetooth as standard. However I couldnt get phone to connect. No options in menu at all. The salesman said it should have it so is going to look at it for me. And offered to install a parrot device free of charge. Which i think was great but Id rather the car work if its meant to. There are buttons on steering wheel but I know thats not always a guarentee its bluetooth.

    Does anybody know if it is a standard spec?

    Don't think it was standard on a 2012 model,,and they all have the phone buttons on the wheel, Bluetooth or no Bluetooth

    It can be retrofitted with vx bits,but is expensive,and vx will probably say it can't be done,but it can

      Oh well. I can get over it for now. And possibly use vxmods at some point. Aslong as they are not located to far away.

      I will use the parrot device for now. Still very excited to pick my new car up. And will enjoy this forum which seems great. Plenty of ideas knocking about

                Not sure exactly. They putting her through MOT and service plus fitting the parrot. They said sometime next week. Ill post pics when I've picked her up

                    If you keep looking on here for ideas on what to do to the car, I hope you have deep pockets
                    LED interior lights. Chrome mirror caps & door handle covers. LED reverse light bulbs. Pedal box. Atomic Alloys. Steel Structure spare wheel. Boot floor risers. Rear exit exhaust & rear valance. M Y ‘15’ front grille.
